Emergency Response Manual

Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007

The procedures provide for a co-ordinated response from key personnel to any such emergency and ensuring a safe and effective response to all types of emergencies. They should be monitored, reviewed, revised and developed by the Management team. Following a site visit our consultants will draft a site specific Emergency Response Manual.

The procedures must be implemented and developed in conjunction with a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment and maintained up to date in order to reflect any significant changes.

The role will be to control an incident as it unfolds and perform certain first aid measures in limiting the affects of an incident on site.

Upon escalation the Manager / Responsible Person will become the primary contact and incident co-ordinator, to aid in duties such as contacting remediation and recovery specialists.

The Manual should be made readily available for reference and copies provided as deemed practicable.
