Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis (QCF)
Course duration:half-day
Venue:The course can be delivered at the client's’s venue subject to the availability of a suitable area.
Aim of the Qualification
This qualification is ideal for Learners who have a specific responsibility at work, home or in voluntary/community activities to provide basic life support and manage anaphylaxis in an emergency. What’s more, the content of this qualification has been approved by the Anaphylaxis Campaign, making it an incredibly popular addition to the first aid portfolio!
Assessment Methods
The method of assessment, to be used to ensure that learners have gained the required knowledge, skills and understanding relating to Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis:
Formative assessments – a range of informal assessment procedures.
Practical assessment – this is observed by the Trainer throughout the course .
